1. First; check & see if you are keeping yourself in the love of God (Rom 5)
2. Second; are you showing love to others
a) find a need and fill it
b) return good for evil
c) love first and sow good, then wait for the harvest (Gal. 6)
3. Third; love yourself!
a) be honest with your self, adit to yourself where you are wrong
b) let other people point out your faults, and try not to be defensive
c) discipline your feelings and emotions. Claim your new identify in Christ
4. Fourth; develop self control (Rom. 10:1-3)
a) human zeal is a natural resistor to God's love
b) zeal demands too much of you and others
c) zeal is one of the strongest forms of the self life! (I will don it! I won't ...)
(Luke 9:23) Deny yourself and take up your cross daily.
(Proverbs 3:5-6) Trust (confidence) in God gives you the power for self-control
